Au aparut primele imagini oficiale foto si video realizate cu noile aparate foto DSLR Canon EOS 5Ds & EOS 5Ds R. Saltul cel mai important pentru aceste aparate full-frame este rezolutia de 50,6 megapixeli. Ca si calitate a imaginii ma astept sa se apropie foarte mult de formatul-mediu (Hasselblad, Phase-One, Mamiya si cateva aparate de la Pentax).
Un singur lucru este sub asteptari, sensibilitatea ISO maxima 6400. Tinand cont ca va fi anuntat si un 5D mk IV care va fi cu o rezolutie ceva mai mica dar sesnsibilitate ISO mult mai mare s-ar putea ca aceasta specializare a aparatelor full-frame Canon sa dea roade.

Review distractiv pentru Sony FS7 si Zeiss 50mm F/1.4

Am vazut multe review-uri pana acum dar cel de mai jos le intrece pe toate prin originalitate.
Ce cred subiectele noastre (prieteni, familie) cand sunt folosite pe post de cobai intr-un test pentru aparatura noua?
Abordarea este pur si simplu haioasa. Mai rar razi la un review:)

Din punct de vedere tehnic a fost testata o camera Sony FS7 si o lentila Zeiss 50mm F/1.4. Tinand cont de acest lucru trebuie sa va asteptati la o imagine superlativa ca si calitate.
Materialul video este realizat de catre  Jon Cole. Primele 3 cadre au fost filmate full HD (1920*1080) iar restul 4K. Filmul a fost editat HD iar pentru unele cadre 4K a fost dat zoom (100%) pentru a creea iluzia unei a doua camere / cadru apropiat.

Canon 750D si 760D - zvonuri aparate foto noi

Pe internet circula zvonuri despre noile aparate DSLR Canon, se pare ca sunt 2 (750D si 760D), din zona entry-level.
Mai jos aveti cateva specificatii:

• Filmare Full HD, MP4, HDR, setari automate (EOS 750D);
• senzor 24.2MP si procesor Canon’s DIGIC 6;
• sensibilitate ISO 100-12,800;
• detectarea si eliminarea Flicker-ului deranjant in filmare;
• viteza declansare 5 frame-uri pe secunda;
• puncte de focalizare 19 cross-type AF - un salt serios fata de linia anterioara entry-level cu doar 9 puncte AF;
• Autofocus hibrid CMOS AF III - se pare ca nu va fi Dual Pixel AF care este un sistem mai avansat si mai util pentru filmare (Canon 70D, 7D MKII);
• rotita control rapid (control dial) spate similar gama X0D XD (pt. EOS 760D );
• moduri creative pentru filmare (EOS 760D );
• wireless Wi-Fi si NFC - transfer de fisiere si control aparat.

Cert este ca gama entry-level DSLR Canon are nevoie de aparate noi ca sa faca fata concurentei, momentan situandu-se putin sub celelalte firme ca si caracteristici tehnice.
Speculatiile au la baza si filmul de mai jos de prezentare pentru statia de conectare CS100, in care este un nou aparat foto DSLR de la Canon. Din acest film rezulta ca aparatul are ecran rabatabil, un control dial (rotita) spate si un ecran superior. Aceasta combinatie de elemente nu corespunde cu modelele actuale Canon.

In zona Canon high-end sunt 2 zvonuri:

• rezolutie superioara - 50 megapixeli - senzorul ar putea fi facut de Sony;
• folosirea unei noi tehnologii pentru shutter - global shutter ce va permite o rafala pentru foto de 30 fps (impresionant). 

O sa aflam mai multe informatii in perioada februarie-aprilie de la expozitiile tehnice CP+ (12-15 februarie - Yokohama) si NAB2015 (13-16 aprilie - Las Vegas).

Cateva specificatii despre global shutter (engleza - Red.com):
“A global shutter controls incoming light to all photosites simultaneously. At any given point in time, all photosites are therefore either equally closed or equally open. A global shutter can work either by abruptly exposing and then obstructing all photosites at once, in which case it can be thought of as a “hard shutter,” or by doing this more gradually as a “soft shutter.” Since they have no moving parts, these are sometimes also referred to as an electronic shutter.”

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 review cu un scor extraordinar - DPreview

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 este o surpiza placuta in lumea aparatelor foto compacte (point&shoot). In ultima vreme aceasta categorie se redefineste in special prin calitate din cauza competitiei cu smartphone-urile.

Noile camere video 4K JVC

Firma JVC a anuntat 3 noi camere video care pot inregistra in format 4K. Supriza cea mare este modelul JVC GY-LS300CHE care va dispune de un senzor Full-Frame 35mm si va folosi lentile Micro Four Thirds. Din pacate pretul va fi pe masura perfomantelor, modelul de varf ajungand la 4450$.

London, 12th November 2014 – JVC Professional has today launched its new 4KCAM product line, comprising three new handheld camcorders and a camera system. The GY-HM200E is a versatile, full-featured 4K Ultra HD camcorder with HD streaming and the compact GY-HM170E delivers 4K Ultra HD images in an economical, palm-sized camera with professional features. The GY-LS300CHE handheld 4K camera and GW-SP100E camera system – previewed at the recent IBC2014 show – each offer 2K/4K recording; the GY-LS300CHE is a Super 35mm 2K/4K camcorder that accepts a variety of interchangeable lenses, while the GW-SP100E is a 2K/4K mini camera system featuring remote head and recorder.

When JVC launched its ProHD product line, JVC made professional HD production affordable. GY-HM200E handheld streaming camcorder

The versatile GY-HM200E offers an outstanding combination of professional features and performance for any filming scenario. It delivers 4K Ultra HD, 4:2:2 full HD (50Mbps) and SD images with a 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS chip. It also features a built-in 12x zoom lens with optical image stabiliser and 24x dynamic zoom in HD mode. The GY-HM200E includes dual XLR audio inputs that are mic/line switchable and feature built-in phantom power, an integrated handle with hot shoe and dedicated microphone mount, and SDI and HDMI video outputs.

The GY-HM200E is also JVC’s most affordable streaming camcorder and can stream instantly to Ustream or other destinations. A built-in HD streaming engine with Wi-Fi and 3G/4G connectivity allows live HD transmission directly from the GY-HM200E and GY-LS300CHE to hardware decoders, Ustream, Wowza Streaming Engine and Zixi servers. A variety of streaming protocols, including RTMP, allows content to be delivered directly to popular streaming web sites and content delivery networks. Zixi’s Advanced Streaming Technology (AST) provides content-aware error correction and bandwidth shaping, while the camcorder offers real-time feedback of signal and streaming status in the viewfinder.


GY-HM170E compact camcorder

While very compact, the economical GY-HM170E features a heavy duty body with professional control layout and comprehensive video profile settings for professional use. Keeping with JVC’s commitment to native file workflows, the camera records 4K Ultra HD as H.264 files and can record HD and SD footage in a variety of resolutions and frame rates. Other features include an integrated 12x optical zoom lens with two ND filters, built-in stereo microphone and 3.5mm audio input, and live 4K UHD output through a built-in HDMI connector.


GY-LS300CHE Super 35mm camcorder

The GY-LS300CHE records to non-proprietary SDHC and SDXC media cards in a variety of image formats including 4K Ultra HD, full HD with 4:2:2 sampling, SD and web-friendly proxy formats. It features JVC's 4K Super 35mm CMOS sensor combined with industry standard Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens mount. JVC’s unique Variable Scan Mapping technology maintains the native angle of view for a variety of lenses, including Super 35, MFT and Super 16. As a result, lens options for the camera are almost limitless.

“The combination of a Super 35 sensor and MFT mount is a brilliant solution to accommodate the largest variety of lenses and adapters without compromising image quality and lens characteristics,” said Gustav Emrich, European product manager. “It gives filmmakers the flexibility to use high-end cinema lenses or affordable glass to capture 4K/HD footage.”


GW-SP100E camera recording system

The JVC GW-SP100E is a 4K/2K remote camera head and recording unit; the system includes the camera head, a recording/playback device with built-in monitor and a RCU controller. This tiny camera produces beautiful 4K video, with 3840x2160 resolution, at up to 50/60p recorded locally to SDXC UHS-I U3 memory cards. It has an interchangeable MFT lens mount system, chosen due to its very shallow flange depth, which offers the greatest flexibility to end users who have already invested in lenses.

The GW-SP100E camera system features a video unit with a foldable and detachable 7-inch HD LCD monitor and includes a wired dedicated remote and camera control panel. Since the camera head is separate from the recorder, this opens up many dedicated applications for the system, including use for industrial or film applications, on special vessels/cranes/trucks, or as a high-resolution microscope camera and recording system. The mini 4K camera can also be attached to a gimbal option; this may be used with a helicopter system for aerial shooting, with anti-shaking and anti-blurring technology ideal when used with a handheld system. So, while the mini 4K camera produces images suitable for cinematic applications, the system also has applications for broadcast news and could open a whole new world for broadcasters.


In summary
The 4KCAM product line is an ideal complement to JVC’s successful ProHD product line. All the new cameras feature dual SDHC/SDXC card slots for dual, backup and continuous recording. The camcorders also include a 3.5-inch LCD display and 1.56 megapixel colour viewfinder, each with smart focus assist functions, and offer two-channel audio recording. An ideal complement to JVC’s successful ProHD product line, the new 4KCAM cameras will be available by Spring 2015, with European pricing still to be confirmed.

10 motive pentru care un fotograf profesionist a schimbat aparatura foto de la Nikon la Sony.

M-a surprins sinceritatea lui Jason Lanier in videoclipul de mai jos. El a facut trecerea la aparatele foto Sony mirrorless fiind un fotograf consacrat pe aparatura Nikon.
Motivele sunt destul de clare si sunt valabile inclusiv si pentru fotografii care folosesc aparatura Canon (inclusiv cel de fata):

• viewfinder electronic - tehnologia a avansat atat de mult incat este net superioara viewfinder-ului optic;
• confirmare instant in viewfinder a schimbarilor de expunere, white balance, etc.;
• compatibilitatea fisierelor intre aparate foto/video; 
• sensibilitate ISO nativa foarte mare;
• custom focus limiter din corpul aparatului - exemplu situatie: fotografie motocross la baza unui deal... asteptam motociclistul iar totul se deruleaza intr-o fractiune de secunda;
• FPS ridicat, pentru unele aparate peste 10f./sec.;
• Focus peaking (semnalizarea pe ecran a zonei in focus) si Zebra (semnalizarea pe ecran a zonei supraexpuse) - inclusiv in viewfinder inainte de a face poza; 
• ecran rabatabil;
• conexiune WiFi si GPS integrat;
• dimensiune mica.

De multe ori m-am simtit frustrat cand am vazut noile aparitii care sunt doar o mica imbunatatire a versiunilor mai vechi. Un exemplu foarte bun in acest caz pentru Canon este 60D si 6D.
Din pacate ca multi alti fotografi nu sunt pregatit sa fac trecerea catre o alta firma (sistem) deoarece investitiile facute in Canon sunt foarte mari (am cateva corpuri, lentile, blituri, declansatoare toate dedicate Canon). Probabil asta este si motivatia firmelor (Canon/Nikon) legata de marketing-ul actual.

Intrebare de final: fotograf mai lenes sau rezultate mai bune si mai rapide cu ajutorul tehnologiei?
Similar... va plac sistemele ABS, ESP, etc pe masini? ....stiu raspunsul :)

Si ca sa mai ingrosam randurile un alt fotograf, Viktor Elizarov specializat in fotografie de peisaj, a trecut la aparatele mirrorless Sony - http://www.phototraces.com/reviews/top-reason-why-i-switched-from-canon-to-sony/ . A facut aceasta trecere pentru multe inovatii incluse in aceste aparate.
Sa stiti ca istoria este repetitiva si cine nu o invata are de platit. Multa lume spunea acum cativa ani ca fotografia pe film va mai reprezenta un segment important si una dintre firmele care s-a inselat mizand pe acest lucru a fost Kodak.

Cu ocazia expozitiei WPPI 2015 (Wedding AND Portrait Photography Association) Jason a sustinut o noua prezentare pe aceasta tema in fata fotografilor profesionisti.

Samsung "forjeaza" puternic in sectorul mirrorless si de acum are rezultate spectaculoase cu Samsung NX1 - http://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-nx1/ "Mirrorless camera takes on mid-range DSLRs for action shooting and wins" CNET.COM.
Sa nu uitam ca firma Samsung are un potential urias (dispun de foarte multi bani care pot fi investiti in cercetare) chiar daca este relativ nou venit in domeniul foto pro.

Daca vreti sa porniti in fotografie, inclusiv ca profesionist, de acum trebuie sa luati serios in considerare sectorul mirrorless. Din pacate oferta Canon si Nikon pentru aceasta zona este limitata si sub asteptari fiind depasita cu brio de alti competitori.
